Purchasing Prints
Art Print Options
On either Fine Art America or Society 6 you can purchase my paintings on a variety of mediums. Canvas, Wood, Poster, and metal prints. You can also get some art printed on specialty gift items. See those sites for options that are available.
Framing and Matting
You can have your art prints shipped to you framed or unframed the choice is yours. Local frame shops can do amazing work but you pay the price for their skill and time. It will likely always be cheaper to have them framed, gallary wraped, or prepared by the printer.
Original Art
Signed original art from me that is non commisioned are 1 of 1 and therefore more costly than even museum quality prints. If my current work is in a gallary you will also pay the gallary price which may increase the cost by 100% in some cases.
Once a work is with a gallary their terms prevent a private sales in most cases. If you are interested in an original inquire about its availability with me, or commision your own orginal work.
I typically make 4 originals most months but they take 2 months to complete. So you should leave 12 weeks lead time for any special orders or commisions to assure you meat your goal for the completed work time.
Custom Designs & Commissions
I hope to offer custom paintings for a few more years. The issue is my vision. At this time all my hours with computer screens, and the free time I spend with painting and art has made it necessary to wear trifocals. It seems with the many hours of eye strain and stress each year the eyes get a little worse.
As I paint I tend to work slowly layer by layer over time on most paintings. Especially now with oil paint. So, most paintings I do in phases and it takes me 8 weeks or so as I work on several at a time.
This ADHD path is one that is based on my creative energy, time, and the pace that works for me. Most days I work 7-8 hours on work for clients in my efforts as a business and marketing consultant. Then I like to spend 2-3 hours in some for of creative effort. That can be painting or writing. I also do the ocassional graphic arts or digital art project.
So if you would like something custom done reach out. Hand made paintings start at a minimum $500 for a 16X20 which is my most popular size.
I need a great photo or several photos to work from. The standard rate is for landscape art, real estate or nature scenes. I do not typically offer portrait art because of the time and emotions envolved. If you look at my work you will see I have done portait work of famous individuals, and I also do private work but these are demanding so they do cost more.
